not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 Purpose The
learning center is an outreach ministry of the Valley Junction Church of
God. The purpose of our
existence is to share the saving knowledge of Jesus in an ecumenical
manner to the children and their families in our community. We
believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, that He died
on a cross to save us from our sin, that He rose from the grave three
days later, and if anyone believes in Him and repents our their sins
they can have eternal life. Our
goal is to teach children about God through personal example, Biblical
stories, Christian music, and leading children in prayer.
We want to support parents from varied Church denominations in
teaching their children about God.
The
Having small classrooms affords more one on one attention and a more acute awareness of each individual student’s progress. Each class is carefully structured to accomplish two things. First, the lesson plans guide each child through the appropriate learning expectancy level for pre-school readiness. Secondly, the nature of the class promotes social development skills needed for building good moral character.
