Today parents are raising their children to have every enriching opportunity humanly possible so that their child will have the edge necessary to excel. Their children’s schedules include multiple sporting teams, bowling, music classes, academic clubs, recreational camping, training camps, private lessons, dance, and the list goes on and on and on! |

These extra curricular activities do provide social development, mental and emotional stimulation as well as creating a well rounded environment for personal growth. However, what is at the center of the child’s life from which all else grows from?
A parent can do nothing better than to place God at the center of their child’s life, and then add all the enriching activities necessary. When a child grows up there is no need to search for the answers of life’s trials when you already have God at the center. They will not be able to fall back on extra curricular activities to sustain them, but they can find an everlasting truth that will always hold them up. Invest in your child’s life for eternity – take them to Church this week!
